On 12/19 Loan Shop Collections was able to access my bank account and steal $390.
Has anyone else found it strange that most of the complaints are for the same amount is being taken from people's accounts.
I contacted my bank immediately and let them know. They are going to investigate the situation and hopefully will refund my money.
I then called Loan Shop Collections. I explained to them that I had no clue as to why they were taking money from my account. They said that I had taken out a payday loan in July and that the deposited money into a Capital One bank account. I had never banked with that bank, nor taken out a payday loan. They refused to listen to the problem. They finally called the bank that they said that I had an account with and were unable to verify that I had a bank account there (which I never had)... But still were unwilling to refund the money. Both the representative and manager that I spoke with both screamed at me and called me names. I asked to speak with another manager and the woman started screaming that I would not talk to anyone else and how sorry I was. She then told me if I wanted my money back that I could file a police report, but wouldn't tell me who I needed to file it with, or what to file it against.
I did file with a complaint against them with the Texas Attorney General's office, and the Federal Trade Commission. I suggest that everyone do this in an attempt to change the regulations and stop this company from stealing.
