Ordered a 28" monitor Thanksgiving Day (evening), based on price, manufacturer and in particularly on their shipping advertising i.E. "Buy Today, Ships today", their advertised expected 3 day shipping to Arizona, and also their advertised policy that orders can be canceled prior to physical shipping.
The next morning I checked to find the order as already shipped (appr 6am). Later in the day I found a monitor for a better price elsewhere, and again checked the status of my TD order, it still showed as already shipped. I called that afternoon and was told the same thing.
Still later in the evening I finally rec'd a notice that UPS had rec'd the billing info (appr 6:54), since that normally happens before actual shipping I sent an e-mail. Finally rec'd notice that UPS had actually gotten the package around noon Sat (close to 30 hours AFTER Tiger said it had already shipped, also found it would be closer to 5 business days than the three they advertised. Have gone back and forth with this Tony Jones a number of times and can't get any straight answers, his story seems to vary and he makes up things as he goes it seems. He has insisted all along that the packaged shipped at 6:54 on Fri evening but can provide no information as to why it showed as shipped in their computer as of very early that morning or why their phone rep told me earlier in the afternoon that it had already shipped or why it would take almost 5 days. He also has 'no idea' why UPS would say they received the package on Sat.
This inceident follows one back in August where they sent me a defective mobo/CPU combo, then when I offered to pay for cross shipping to get the items replaced they said they were out of the particular CPU and offered to upgrade to a faster CPU for additional cost and actually sent a slower one (which by the way had been already opened, thankfully though it worked). Got the same thing from this Mr Jones then also just run arounds.
These people are just like their semi-defunct rebate company - just one lie after another. Hopefully the Florida AG will cath up to them as it did with their rebate company.
