I bought iPod2Computer iPod music transfer software last week for a client and after paying $20 for the software and reading the receipt/confirmation, I discovered the software expires in 1 year, thus making the software unusable. It is not mentioned anywhere on the website that it expires in one year. I wrote to the company and Fenny wrote back saying we did not have to renew it. Yeh, then we're Sh1t out of luck after a year. Also it is possible that the renewal process could happen automaticly without our knowledge. Thus possibly taking $20 per year for the software - not saying that acutally happens, because we wont know until a year later.
If the product expires in a year, they need to make that known to the buyer in the ad before they purchase it, not after you pay for it. It's very misleading and most likely illegal. I recommended to my client that he calls his credit card company and have them do a chargeback on his credit card. Other than that, the software does work great - it does allow you to transfer all music from any ipod to your computer. However, you can only put it on one computer. That should also be mentioned in the ad. After working with the software a bit I figured out how to install it on as many computers as you want without having to buy it for each computer.
