I hired BurstingSun through GURU.com back in June to redesign a website I was working on, they had to design aprox 15 pages, in 6 months I got 1 page designed.in addition, they have new clue how to read or write code. Minh Phung who I was dealing with wanted me to pay my old designer to teach him how to read database files. Any good designer knows how to read database files. He kept saying that he could not understand the error codes when he went into my back end, His staff must have messed things up in there because the system worked fine before he touched it. Now after wasting MONTHS trying to get him to show me more than ONE page I will have to sue him to get back my money in addition all the damage he did to the current site. It's one lie, one story after another. If you plan on working with this company be ready for a fight, Below you will see all the conversations I had with him over the past 6 months. AGAIN... The problem is that you don't know how to read the files that are present. They have not changed since my last developer, the system developed was working fine until I gave it to you, for all I know your people screwed it up. I have worked with over 10 developers in the past 8 years and your the only one that seems not to be able to figure things out and has wasted MONTHS on designing one page out of 15 that I simply can't use.
Although I had my problems in the past with my last designer I did pay him for the work that he did, never stiffed him for a penny. We just didn't see eye to eye, that happens in business, so that is why I moved on. I gave him other business though the people I know and expected to be taken better care of. He didn't think that way. And wanted to nickle and dime me. His loss. If you notice for a fee he is willing to do more work, but why should I pay him to do more work when it's simply your job. If you need the help, then you pay him to figure it out. I'm not here to pay to train your people that is what I hired you for. I gave you all the correct codes.
As far as usacomplaints.com goes. I could care less, people are not going to care that you had a dispute with a website that YOU got paid to design. I'm the customer. They will care when right under your company search there is a complaint that you failed to solve and took money in exchange for designing one page that took 7 months. THAT IS THE RIP OFF!
If that black mark means nothing to you and your business as well as the lawyer your going to have to defend in what I will seek in damages. Hey. Knock yourself out. I suggest you call your attorney and find out what his fees are going to be to defend you. I'm sure it's 5 times what you owe me, and in the end, I still didn't get the product so you will owe me that plus any damages I will pile on to fix the problems you caused to the current site.in fact, I will call George back and have him do it and let him charge me me his $75 per hour fees only to have you pay it later.
I will assume your education did not have any business classes. Your about to get one if I don't get my money back or you figure things out.

You are free to do what you wish but for you to demand a refund of the money after all the work we did for you is simply ripping us off.
It is not our fault that your previous coder would not give us the appropriate database files to work on the extra work. I have told you we can finish up the redesign for you but we will not work on the programming. How can we work on the programming when you are not providing us the appropriate files? We will not any longer be in the war between you and your coder.

I am not requesting that you do anything aside from the work I hired you for. You have express that the information and the "codes" I gave you are incorrect. At first though you said they were correct,

George has told me that that was the correct codes and no one has been in the back end until you. It is very possible that you just don't understand the back end. Everything on the old site was working fine. Why you have error codes now, I have no clue. Your the coder so figure it out. Maybe it is something that your people did that is now making it get error messages. I don't know. Like I said the site system worked fine before I gave it to you.
In addition, this is the last time I am going to tell you this. When I call you, I want a return phone call, You lack communication and let things take weeks to go by without getting in contact with me. If I did business this way I would be out of business. If I don't get from you the answers I need I will request to pull this job from you and go after getting my money back. Our emails back and forth clearly shows that you have dragged your feet since day one only showing me one design page out of 15 you needed to make. There is no reason you could not at least design the other pages while you were waiting for the codes to get into the back end.
I will no longer work with someone that lacks the communication needed for me to get this project completed. Telling me things don't work now when they worked before tells me that you don't know what your doing. Have your people figure this stuff out ASAP and stop with the excuses of not showing me work.

I suggest that if you want us to go our of our way to do something we have no necessity of doing, you stop with accusing and false statements.
I will wait for a fax that my legal council approves, which does not contain false statements. The process of 3 weeks will begin from the time I receive the fax.

Minn, the company I gave this stuff to after him was you! He NEVER gave me any CD, I would have locked it in my safe. He just gave me the paperwork that I Fedex out to you. Why he could not just look that project up and give it to you? It makes no sense. Call him back and try to get it from him and let me know whats up. Even if he says he gave it to me it's been only a few months and he is still responsible and should have to carry that info for 2 years. Hes is just being an asshole because I took the job away from him. Let him know that if I don't get that information that I will follow up with a lawsuit for not providing it to us, He would have to prove that he did, and he could never do that becuase he didn't.

You and I have gone back and forth and agreed on the price of $700 for the extra work which I am detailing down below for you. You can go back in the messages and see that you agreed to and were "glad to have met the agreement". Anyways, the project has taken so long is because we kept on asking you to release the credentials to us to work with your website but the credentials were not working. We ask over and over again. And since we were not able to get into your site we had to begin developing it on our own and then you said you will not accept the codes in php as you want it in asp.net. And then we told you again the credentials you have been giving us does not work and then finally you provided the proper credentials and we were able to get into the site finally. And that was only 2-3 weeks ago. And all the messages will show all the things that had transpired.
Here was the agreement for extra work for $700:
1. On the left hand side - now when people, the mouse go over their services,
it
should have some type of drop down screen. Which tells you what type of
services
it is in that catagory. Example. Business Services should have a drop down of
what types of services are available. Advertising, Accounting..
So every time we put in a new merchant into the system, it's all linked
together.
2. The flash that I currently have their we do not have to use that. The card
is
all solid black card. We have to use that design. If you need the file sent
to you of the Card let me know.
3. The advertising that is on the bottom right. I need that to be able to be
access and changed by my system administrator. There is a lot of things on
there
that I cant change.
4. The merchant board in the middle, it's like a Craig's list, I want that to
be
a functionality of the actual site. Merchants can post there about special
offers. I think we should call it the Special offers by merchants.
5. If someone lost their passwords, there has to be a place for them to
retrieve their passwords. Currently there is nothing.
6. After Merchants are entered into the system they will be linked with the
google searches automaticly. So when someone Googles that business our company
should come up under
theirs in a search. This will help people find our company and these deals
that we offer.
