I ordered the CD, "Quickcash from Craigslist" on 11/13. It was supposed to be sent out to look at for 14 days, and then if you continued with the program you would be charged 39.95 per month. I checked my bank statement and saw the charge on there for $39.95 on 11/27. Called the company to let them know they are charging me for something that I don't have. They appologized and stated the Cd was on its way, and that they would extend the 14-day trial period. They also stated that they would be in a request for a refund since I did not receive my CD. I received the CD in the mail 3 days later. Yeah—conveniently this time I get it. I review the information and it's information I already know about Craigslist—what is Craigslist, how to post, etc. Not anything that I alreadydid not know. I called to cancel and to also get my refund and the company gave me the big run-around. The company explained that I should have looked at the terms and conditions. I stated I did, but I did not think it was fair that they are charging me for something that I don't even have in my hand yet. After speaking to a supervisor, they still would not refund my money. I guess the lesson is, "If you purchase something and there is a trial period, cancel it before the trial, even if you have no product yet."
