We received the following email from a staff member at the planet web hosting company, We don't know why they sent us this, they have our records mixed up with someone else because we did NOT spam, we are a webhosting company and if there was a site hosted by us then they could have simply said so and we would have co-operated and shut down that site, but they did not explain why, they are basically shutting it down for no reason, we tried to explain it to them but as you can see in their response they will not listen to anything we have to say because they already decided that they would cancel the account.
We don't recommend ThePlanet to anyone at all! Be advised that what happened to us could happen to you as well.
Below you will find the email that we had received from them:
Dear Customer,
At this time, due to spam violations, management has determined that we will no longer be able to continue providing the following services:
These services will be terminated, and the servers reclaimed - at -. This is not negotiable, and will occur regardless of ongoing dialog.
*Please use the time to prepare accordingly, as once the server is reclaimed, all data will be lost. Further violations of the AUP will result in immediate reclaim
