I had hosting freaks as a host for not even 2 weeks. All the trouble started the minute I signed up for there hosting. After I paid my hosting fee of $15 it took them 3 days to get me my account info, which would usually only take about 10 minutes. After I finally received my account info everything was going fine, I got my site up and running but as soon as I updated my site the servers went down. I figured ok, it does happen.
Well the server was down for about 30 mins and then when it finally came back i started to update again and again it went down. I contacted Chris (owner of hosting freaks) He told me it had to be my connection. So I asked 3 other people that were hosted by hosting freaks and all 3 said that the server does go down every time an update is added to the site. So I again contacted Chris and told him that I would like my money back because I was going to another server.
Chris told me that he would not refund my money even though they have a 30 day money back if you are not happy with there service. Well after the little battle between Chris and I, I decided that I would let it slide. The following month I noticed that a sum of money was missing out of my paypal account. I tracked it down and found out that hosting freaks had auto billed me for another month of hosting that I did not have. I again contacted Chris and Chris told me that he did not know anything about it and called me a liar and then further proceeded to ignore me. I have attempted to contact Hosting Freaks atleast 3 times a day for the last week and I dont get anywhere. Since they continue to ignore my requests I figured it was time to air there dirty laundry out so everyone can see how corrupt Hosting Freaks really is.
If you plan to get hosting, please avoid Hosting Freaks. There servers are very unsecure and very unstabble. I've had better hosting from free webs. If you are currently hosted by hosting freaks I would leave as fast as you can before you are ripped off!
