To Whume this may consern:
(1) I have received this email saying that I had downloaded this program from there web sight and had not payed for it. I may have downloaded it, but not at anytime was it said to me that I had to pay for it. I thought it was a free trial. I still ended up getting ride of it any way. Now I got this email saying that I took it unlawfully and they are going to press charges if I don't pay for it. What can I do? I have never have had this happen to me before. If I had known that I need to pay for it, then I would have.
Not only that, but most of all the Download programs have a free trile period, and at that time you then would half to pay for the full version if you decided to keep it. So... Can you help me? There was another person that this had happen to:

-i too am also another victim that got screwed by the antivirus2008 software. Ridiculously enough i just came to learn that today, when i actually bought the software on may 13. It had been purchased on my laptop which had been stolen months ago. I came to learn about this scam interestingly enough when i received an email from:

(2) The email sent in reguards to this program was from ([email protected]) No other information was sent but a clip-on that asked for our information showing proof of buying this product.
(Name, Address, Phone, and Bank Statement.) I havent given anything on this matter to them. I am seeing if you can help me.
(2) The email that was sent to me:
- On 06-11 your have used the website www.antivirus2008y.com to purchase the copyrighted software Antivirus which is our private property.
As the owners of the product we haven't received the funds you paid for it yet. Your actions are in the nature of theft and fraud. We are preparing papers for the police and the courts to bring you to criminal liability to recover the monetary damages you brought.
For a complete clarification of the incident and to resolve the arisen conflict by a peace settlement, we need your cooperation. To do this you have to send us a written confirmation of purchasing our software. (the text of the letter you have to send is attached, please print it and fill in the fields from %, indicating your name, address, phone number, e-mail and other data identifying your person and sign the letter).
Attaching the copy of a bank payment document confirming the payment for the purchased software (check, receipt, money orders, bank statements or other) to your letter is obligatory.
You must send good quality scan of your filled letter and bank payment document within 3 days after receiving this warning to e-mail [email protected]
In case no response from you is received we reserve the right to go to court and the police for your action are illegal to recover the monetary damage you brought.
