I have been a member of Ebay for over 20 years. Ebay is not what it used to be and sadly, it has been us, the customers that have brought it to where it is now. Long ago, when you needed something, Ebay was the place to go. They were friendly and respected your opinion. They have now become a money hungry rude non-caring group of individuals who do not care about anything except what they say, when they say it and how they say it.
I have been acussed of shilli billing because I allowed a friend to use my computer. I attempted to send documentation from them, they would not hear it. They took my listings, kept my listing fees, and kept me from listing auction style for 2 weeks. Then they have a new rule that a new seller, can list as many Coach bags as they want, and it is okay, but an old seller with over 700 positive feedbacks is limited. To "protect the Ebay community" of course. Then you have the "Sellers cannot leave Negative feedback but Buyers can"
Today, they just down right showed me that they are definitely on my case. I woke up to find they had taken down over 15 of my Coach listings saying I had broken a policy on Trade Infringement. Funny thing is that this is the same listing I have had for the last year and I have been using the same language I have always had, and lastly, I have a disclaimer saying I am not affiliated nor do I work with Coach. Now, what tops this is that other Power Sellers like myself HAVE THE SAME EXACT LISTING I DO AND THEY ARE STIL UP! The answer I was given, "well, its like when you speed, some get pulled and some dont". Nice answer huh?
A few months ago, I turned in someone that had copied a photo from the company logo itself... I mean talking about not lying about it. She even said, my camera is broken so I had to copy it from their page. I turned it in. Guess what. That listing is still there... I guess they have not gotten to it yet... How convenient huh?
Yes, Ebay is very selective about how they do what to... I do wish someone would form a class suit against them and knock them down a few notches... They are ripping people off. And getting away with it. If I could find another place I would fly out of there! I for one have lost all respect for them..
