Software Scams they know about but dont do anything

Fraud on Ebay

There is a lot of fraud going on, on ebay.co.uk with the software Microsoft Office 2003 Professional & XP just about all the listings are fraud, you buy the software and do not receive anything, then the seller closes his account, opens a new account buys a whole load of 1p items just to get feedback up and then off he go's again.
Ebay knows of this and gives you no replies in email and no other way of contact.

We loose are money but the scammer and ebay both get their money, so why would ebay want to stop this when they make so much money out of it, answer is they do not want to stop because they could if they wanted. So it is ebay who are the fraudsters because they know it's going on and we cant do anything about it.

Here an example
Search Microsoft Office 2003 Professional on ebay
22 items on the first pages are fraud if you look at the sellers feedback and see the items they have brought there all 1p ebooks or of something else of a small price.

As this software is anything between? 200 and? 400 new,? 10 is a bit cheap, so I through it must be fake, but the listing said you get a key and can be updated.
So I brought an item (7231506033) Microsoft XP & Microsoft Office 2003 Professional for? 9.99 Buy It Now paid with PayPal to the email address of [email protected]
his ebay user name was Computek-sales.
I got email from ebay on Tuesday saying they have removed and not to pay for it, but it was a Buy It Now listing and had to pay straight away (Sunday), replied with why? And have already paid.
Got a reply back saying cant tell you or help you contact the member and ask for a refund. I did this and as I guessed no reply, filled the fraud form and ebay and PayPal with no reply.

The second item...
Microsoft Office 2003 Professional for? 14.50
Paid using www.nochex.co.uk to the email address [email protected]
Ebay user name v12_bi-turbo and soon after the member is no longer a member
Reported to ebay and I reported this to nochex both with no reply.

So this is what happening
1, Sellers are signing up to ebay
2, Buying 1p or cheap items (to get feedback up so we think its ok to buy)
3, Putting software up for sale (ebay gets money)
4, We buy it and pay for it (ebay and the con man gets money)
5, We do not get anything
6, We report it,
7, Ebay do not do anything
8, Seller opens a new account and starts again
9, Ebay do not do anything (because they make so much money out of it)
10, We left with nothing, we can do nothing

Ebay have all the power and they could easy stop this, and this is just Microsoft Office & XP you have all the other software, games and all the fake goods.

Last week I must have seen something like over? 2000 of fraud going on with all the other people buying the same software, what about the rest of ebay? Someone needs to do something to stop this.

Try it for you self you will see. It looks like it happenens at the weekend when ebay works dont work.
Listing fees after non paid items
I have also been having two problems with one item where bidders have bid but not paid, this means as a seller you pay a listing fee to ebay, ebay keeps the listing fee and will not give you a refund.
Twice this has happened on the same item and it comes to nearly? 20 of listing fees just for one of ebays user to bid and not pay.
The first time I listed item 5875335460 someone bid, won and never got any contact of over two weeks. All ebay said was, if I pay again and re-list the item again, and IF someone wins they will refund my listing fee, well someone won BUT did not pay, he said he bid on the wrong item.
So I ask ebay for a refund, they said NO.
That was twice they had a listing fee of nearly? 20 for the same item, which I had non pay bids.
Ebay should refund this but they wont and have been battling with them to get a refund but no luck.
