I bought a desktop computer through TigerDirect, and added the cost of an additional 1-year "REPLACEMENT" warranty after the manufacturer warranty expired. When I called, told them the computer had been malfunctioning for manoths and that I wanted a replacement, I was first told that I had a "repair" warranty, but then, after speaking to another rep, was told tat I indeed did have a "replacement" warranty.
I asked for the proper return label to be sent, and was told it would go out that day. I called in the next day to ask if everything was in order and was then told I would not get a replacement, was transferred to three different reps, who all said they would check things out, and to this day and have never heard another word.
I contacted an attorney and am now filing fraud charges with the Georgia Attorney General's office and will never deal with these people again. As for TigerDirect, they have done little if anything to help out and never deal with them again either.
