Eric Gillette "sold" me a website called myplacetoyours.com in January for $10,000. It was not at all what he had promised nor did he live up to all the commitments he had made to help me with the site.
While in the process of disputing this with him he then went and charged my credit card for another $11,000. I called him and he said that he didn't know what it was all about and that he would "check his systems to see if an error occurred"
After not hearing from him I called Amex and reversed the charge. After a short while Eric provided Amex with a forged document using my signature from my initial purchase claiming that I bought another website from him called topfashionexpression.com. Why in the world would I buy another business from this fraud when I was in the middle of disputing the first one?
I then found the actual owner of topfashionexpression.com and he notarized a document stating that he was the owner and had bought the site from Eric Gillette.in fact he also stated that Eric sold him myplacetoyours.com as well! I submitted this to Amex and they nevertheless found in his favor.
This jackass took me for $21,000 total. He is a scam artist and a fraud. If you know what is good for you please stay away from him. Please email me if you have any negative experience with Eric Gillette at [email protected]
The book is not closed on this story. There is more to come.
