May I contracted with Internet Marketing Images to develop a real estate website from beginning to end. They immediately charged my credit card $2,850 to develop the site, with another $2,850 due upon completion. Also at completion $375 would be paid for 4 months for Search Engine Optimization of the site, $30 for website hosting, and $50 for a third party real estate (IDX) search engine.
August The company launched the site and charged my credit card the second $2,850. The site was not complete, and has never been completed. I tried to work with Dan Stalfire at SEO ONE (Their 'sister' company who actually charged my accound) and he continuously made excuses, but never followed through with the site completion. I was never given a copy of the site, and have absolutely nothing to show for the money charged. Also charged was $375 and $80 multiple times as per the contract... However without a complete site these charges should never have happened.
In December I called Discover, my credit card company, and disputed the charges, which SEO ONE defended with the contract. Discover is currently enforcing the charges on my account with interest. The only charge I ever did authorize is the first $2,850. I have repeatedly tried to dispute the charges with Discover since then.
I was told by (I believe it was the vice president of SEO ONE) that the programmer who was working on my site was fired.
I do not believe the company has the ability to deliver the product as promised at this point.
Regardless, the second $2,850 comleted development charge and the multiple $375, $80, and $30 charges should never have occurred.
The company is in breech of contract, has used ridiculously unfair business practices with me, has fraudently used my credit card without authorization.
