I read some reports on Soft4Downloads in the consumer complaints that were dated 2006 and 2005. Well, this is August and they are still in business. Unfortunately for me, I didnt check this Website before I bought.
They will sell you the right to download a wide variety of software for a really low price. There is no disc, user manual or the like. It is only a download. What I didnt know is that they also send you a keycode generator with the download.
I probably should have remembered that old saying, "caveat emptor" or let the buyer beware! The keycoder was probably illegal just like the pirated software they are selling.
I thought I was out $90 but lucky for me my bank has fraud protection and I was able to get my money back after filing a police report.
So, stay away from this site or anything that sounds like it. They are out of Riga, Latvia near Russia and I have heard they also operate out of China. The site has many different domain names, so beware!
If it sounds too good to be true, it usually is!!!
