Web Club International
If you are a victim of this company please follow my lead in filing a report with fraud.org!

I was first contacted by Marc Payne of Web Club International LLC in early August and after asking several questions I thought I was safe in signing up for the affiliate marketing website they were offering.

They told me their "platinum package" was the best way to go because I would get five, Fortune 500 companies on the website which was normally $975.00 but with thier current promotion I could have it for $298.00. I guess I am pretty gullable because I let them sign me up. After all, I shop at Amazon.com quite often myself and since this was going to be one of the websites in my package I thought this to be a reputable offer.

I was told I would get a coach who would teach me how to advertise my website and that I would only have to put in one-half hour a day to achieve a nice monthly income.

About eight days later, in fact the very same day I had put my signed invoice for the $298.00 and completed tax form in the mail I heard from Bob Stevens, who said he was my advertising coach. He was very charming and convincing and before I knew it I had agreed to their best advertising campaign called "Pop-Under" advertising. Good ole Bob said if I purchased their $3,900.00 package that they would guarantee 100,000 visitors to my website over the next year and he would throw in an additional guaranteed 20,000 visitors for free which was an $800.00 value for free. I agreed to give it a try and gave him my credit card information.

I told Bob I was out of work on disability due to an illness and I didn't have $3,900.00 to throw away so I hoped he was being honest with me. He said his clients with websites were very pleased and if I know of someone else who needs advertising for their website to refer them to him and I would receive a commission. I told him if I did as well as he was claiming I was going to do I would definately tell people about the company.

Bob said he would get me out the invoice to sign and I should fax it back to him so they could get my advertising campaign started as soon as possible. Well I received the invoice he wanted me to sign within two days and the mail lady made me sign a return receipt. This started giving me an uneasy feeling because it just seemed to have such an urgency to it.

I decided to try and find out more information on Web Club International so I searched the internet and came across this website usacomplaints. Coms.com. When I started reading all of the reports filed about Web Club International my heart sank. My fears had been confirmed. I had been flim flammed.

I immediately called my credit card company to stop the payment from being sent but unfortunately they said it had just posted to my account that very day and that since it was Sunday I would have to wait and call back on Monday to dispute the charges. I just hope I am not too late to get my money back.

I know I am well within the 30 days for cancelling the website and hosting fees but I am a bit confused about their refund policy on advertising as it is quite contradictive. It says they offer a 100% guarantee and if they fail to deliver the traffic they promise, in the amount I specified in my order and within the timeframe they say that it will be delivered that they will issue a refund for the amount of undelivered traffic OR, I can choose to receive additional traffic equal to my entire original order. But here is where it gets contradictive. It then says "there will be no refunds on any advertising".

I do not intend to send the signed invoice back to them so I hope this will enable me to stop them from ripping me off but I am worried that if they can stoop so low as to rip off as many people as they already have they will just continue to do so until someone with the legal authority to stop them steps in and does so.

I have also filed a report on the website www.fraud.org and I would suggest as many people as possible follow this lead because fraud.org says they will send the report to the local governing authorities and that if the authorities see a pattern of this scandalous activity they will investigate it. The website also says there is no harm in reporting something if you suspect it to be a scam but you're not sure. Be sure to give as much information in the report as possible, just as if you are telling a friend in detail about what happened to you.

I hope you are reading this prior to doing business with this company but if you are not, TAKE ACTION IMMEDIATELY BY FILING A REPORT WITH www.fraud.org and also dispute the charges with your credit card company.
