WebTech Strategies - Freedom Online
ShopFreedomOnline They were very deceptive and misleading while charging me for a home based website service

It started with a phone call from ShopFreedomOnline. A woman by the name of Linda Valez had introduced herself and the company she was with, and told me she had noticed I was interested in a web based business. I then realized that I previously had been looking into a few home base businesses online and must have filled out the registration form for that company with my information and phone number attached. I was undecided at first and she convinced me it is an oppurtunity of a lifetime and that I would not be dissapointed. She also went on to say the business will pretty much run itself even if I don't put the extra work into it. I asked her how does it work? She told me the company is based off of Fortune 500. I would get my own website setup with a chain of popular stores such as Sears, Kmart, Petco and a host of other name stores ranging from electronics, clothing and sporting goods to entertainment services. She explained I would make a 20% commission for every sale that goes through my website and it would be a $250 fee to buy my website and an additional cost to put the website together with an advertisement campaign included, and I would have a coach working with me. I decided go with it.

A few days later after sending my $250.00 for the website, a guy by the name of Nick Pasano from WebTech Strategies called and told me it would cost me $5,000.00 to have the website up and running. I told him it was kinda steep for me and I don't have that kind of money for this, then he said he would reduce it at $2,500.00 for a total of 120,000 visitors being brung to my website and its the best he can do, so I shelled out the twenty five hundred dollars through my credit card and for $2,500.00... The campaign consisted of three phases each lasting approximately a month bringing a total of 120,000 visitors through my website.

As the campaign started, I decided to put extra work into it as they did recommended and despite the business pretty much running itself, I would do alot of free advertising such as Technorati and Craiglist as WebTech Strategies recommended, but after the first Campaign ended, I get a phone call from WebTech and it was a guy I believed his name was Mike who supposely was my coach. He sounded a bit dissapointed and told me I was not making it unless I invest more into advertising through their website. I told him I was already doing alot of free advertisment on my own time to help bring to my website and I simply cannot afford to invest more until I start making some money. He then seem to grow inpatient and upset with me and told me I am wasting his time as almost if he was condemning me. I forgot how it exactly ended but I remember telling him he had an attitude I did not like and would wish to speak to someone else next time.

I decided to try even harder and invested hundreds of dollars more into advertising services along with free advertising services, plus countless hours of of my own time of work put into my website while my traffic flow seem to have the same pace as before. I called up WebTech Strategies and this time I talked to a guy who went by the name of Jiggs. Jiggs seemed to be a much more mild manner soft spoken guy and went on to tell me I was right about where I ought to be with my campaign traffic flow. When the campaign had finally ended at the end of the third month, I called up asking for Jiggs only and had asked him when do I get my sales report results and he told be it should be the following week on thursday after the campaign completed. The following Thursday came and went and still no reports, so I called Jiggs up again and he told me it could sometimes take two or three weeks before the results come back. I ask for a back office but I was told they had none available at the time and there was no way of knowing of how many sales my website had made.

A month had gone by and still no sales report had been mailed to me so I pick up the phone and called Jiggs and he told me they did find out about my sales report but I did not make enough sales to get a commission. Well I guess Linda had lied to me. Jiggs went on to tell me that being I did not make enough sales and being I worked hard at it, he would throw me in another three phase/three month campaign for free. That campaign came and went and it's been many months and I never recieved any sales reports or a penny for that matter. I did decide to call up ShopFreedomOnline looking for Linda Valez and they told me she had moved on.
