Central Pack.com / P and M Consolidator is running a scheme where previous customers are charged months after thier original order has been completed. I purchased boxes from this company in April and had no further dealings with them. Then, this August, I looked at my credit card bill and saw that they charged me $700 for services that I never ordered.
I contacted the company who told me they would refund the charge, but according to the credit card company they have 30 days to complete the refund.in addition, the credit card company refuses or says they cannot block this merchant from making further charges against my account. How is this possible?
It appears they are stealing from customers via credit card fraud.
1) JIT, the company now representing the website centralpack.com, centralpak.com and the 800 phone number claims that P AND M CONSOLIDATOR owes them money and as part of the resolution they have since taken over the website and phone number.
2) If you have a fraudulent P &d M charge on your credit card, dispute it immediately. You can also note to the agent you speak with that many people are reporting fraudulent charges and that they should investigate and, hopefully, cancel P & M Consolidators account so they can no longer make these charges.
Although my previous purchases from this company have been ok, but I would never deal with them again and if you value the security of your credit accounts, don't do business with this company.
