My wife went to the drug store to get my daughter some medicine. Her check card was declined. This was weird, as we HAD plenty of money in the account. We came home and found out that there was a hold on our checking account for $1998.00 from PayPal. We haven't used our PayPal account in 3 months! The first thing we did was to check our PayPal account. We found that there was an unauthorized use of our account.
Another person was involved, and the address had been changed to an old house we used to live at. PayPal is telling us we MIGHT get our money back after Christmas. This does not help me with my rent. (That is what the money was for!) The bank is seeing what they can do, as this will overdraft my account like you would not believe.
PayPal was unwilling to help us in this matter. Please help! Close your PayPal accounts now!
