ELocal Listings, The Patriot Ledger, ELocal Video, Search Initiatives, Zone Communications
Commited fraud, breach of contract, liable, abandonment, bate and switch, careless, failure of consideration, false pretense, theft, harrasment, illusury promise, malfeasance, negligence, misrepesentation and unjust enrichment, san diego

I am the President of a Construction Corporation in San Diego, CA and when I heard my marketing team discussing the top 10 ranking promises eLocal Listings made, I was ecstatic that it would be that easy to optimize our company so readily accessable to our internet consumers and so immediately available to our next client!!!

Little did I understand that hiding inside the gross misrepresentations of eLocal's overly enthusiastic and thoroughly mis-informed SEO representative would be the long awaited fact that our Construction industry here in San Diego, CA would be so uber-ly competitive and eLocal Listings, the SEO company that he worked for (and REPRESENTED), would eventually tell me 7 months later that their technology to rank our Company as HIGH as they were promising would not work for my San Diego Based Construction Company and their just going to stop working on it because it's such a highly populated Industry!

I was also told by an eLocal representative that, "I should probably go try one of those SEO companies that charges alot of money, because they probably have better technology than we do!"

I asked her to please repeat that? And took a note that time as she said it!

Of course she apologized to me!

And she said eLocal would stop Billing us!

Let me fill in the blanks for you, eLocal representatives told me that the keywords I chose were available and took our $ 248.00 to start our service. After 42 calls into their office to speak with the various representatives that had my floating file between the months of November to May my Company never reached the top 10 List as eLocal representatives originally promised.

ELocal Listings provided a few pain killers to momentarily ease our pain, i.E., suspended payments and a sponsored Adword listing here and there for a day or 2 but HEY! ELocal Listings! We have our own Adwords account, do you recall selling us that package? It was the top 10 Local Listings package we purchased from you, remember!?"But, now we got your Company on the first page as we promised" said eLocal Listing representatives...

I can personally say that "eLocal Listings" was grossly negligent, lacking scruples, misrepresented and over promised beyond their ability to realistically perform what they state they do as service provider.

Based upon the negative feedback I've read of other's experiences, I can say with confidence that this company is functioning daily with a business system that is not in the best interest of the consumer.

I empathise with you if you have been taken by this company!

Ask the next SEO company that calls you to give you a referance of a company in your industry and in your local area that they have already positively serviced.

They'll say (script) something like, "we only allow one company per geographical area to sign up with us, so we can't do that for you".

Just nicely say Thank you, but no thanks, and figure out a SEO solution that works the way you and your company need it to work.

Best Regards!

P.S. To eLocal Listings, This post will stay on the internet to warn other unsuspecting victims you prey on. Also, We want our money back and don't even think about retaliation. One of you brainiacks at eLocal Listings put up an ad that has people calling us at all hours of the night asking us if we have any rooms available! An advertisement with our phone number connected with Hotel information, you guys are BRILLIANT!!! And no one at eLocal knows how this got there or how to make it go away!? But it's titled with eLocal Listings on it!!!

A business system like yours will only last so long and why don't you corporate geeks correct the segments of your business that quite frankly suck to the standard consumer!!!
