I made an on-line purchase from Tranquility Alley in December. The site advised that my purchase would ship out in 10 days and that the item was in stock. The following day, Tranqulity Alley/Anita Bolsoni debited my account in excess of $300 to collect payment for my purchase. 6 days later, and 7 days later, and 26 days later, I sent e-mails to Tranquility Alley/Bolsoni, asking for a tracking number and/or status of my order; I received no response.
36 days after I had place my order and 35 days after Tranquility Alley/Bolsoni had my money in hand, I again contacted Tranqulity Alley via e-mail and received a response asking for my order number, so they might check into the status. I responded with my order number that same day. 14 days later (50 days after I had placed my order), Tranquility Alley/Bolsoni again had not responded, so I sent an e-mail advising them to cancel my order and refund my purchase price.
Another week later, Tranquility Alley responded that my item was on backorder and I could cancel.By return e-mail that day, I advised AGAIN that they should cancel the order and refund my purchase price. Yet another week later and then again another month later, I sent e-mails asking about my refund. Finally, THREE MONTHS after I had placed the order, Tranquility Alley/Bolsoni responded by e-mail that my refund was being mailed to me. Yet another week later, no refund, so I advised Tranquility Alley/Bolsoni I would file a complaint with the BBB, with the AG's Consumer Fraud division, and a civil action.
It is now almost FOUR MONTHS since I placed my order and, despite my repeated phone calls to all numbers I can find (that have not been disconnected), and despite repeated e-mails to Bolsoni/Tranquility Alley, and despite their false assurance last month that a refund is on the way, I am left holding the bag while they are still holding my cash. Unfortunately, it appears I will have to move forward with a lawsuit. Ridiculous.
