On July 27, I purchased through eBay a Western Digital 500GB external hard drive. When I went to install the hard drive it would not format. I emailed the company on August 26 to get return authorization. On September 5, I received an email containing the RMA number and return instructions. On September 12 I returned the hard drive via US mail, it was received on September 14. I never received another hard drive.
I have made many calls and have sent numerous emails and faxes with no response.
On October 29 I sent a letter requesting a refund certified mail. On October 31 that letter was received, I have proof of the return receipt. I have filed a complaint with the United States Postal Inspection Service for mail fraud. All I want is $139.90, the amount I paid for the hard drive returned to me.
