I purchased a computer hard drive (Western DigitalCaviar SE16 WD5000KS 500GB Serial ATA 7200RPM) from zipzoomfly.com on 2/03. The order number was - and the price was 149.99 with 2 day business shipping. It arrived a day late on 2/09. I installed the hard drive right after I received it, but it did not work. It was making grinding noises and caused my computer to crash. I also, noticed that the hard drive had cracks in the casing. I then called the zipzoomfly.com customer service number for a return of merchandise number. The hard was to have a 15 day return for refund policy. I was only able to reach a answering machine which said to leave a message, with info for them to call back. I did this. After a couple of days with no return call, I email them, but still did not receive a reply. I called again and when that did not work, I emailed again. To date, I have not receive any response form zipzoomfly.com.
After I contacted my credit card company to cancel the charges, zipzoomfly.com lied and told the credit card company that I never requested a return. I then sent the credit card a copy of the email I sent to zipzoomfly.com requesting the return.
