My wife responded to an alleged survey which indicated that she could win $1,000 not realizing that this was simply a scam to sign her up for a monthly fee for voicemail which we don't need. My wife's English is not as polished as a native English speaker and she is not aware of these type of scams. I had no trouble getting the charges deleted but I am disapointed in my telephone company, AT&T, in allowing these scam artists to so readily bill for these schemes. I had no luck in trying to find out the company that is behind this scam since I was shuttled from one 800 number to another but I believe that Enhanced Voice Mail, Inc., OAN Services, Inc., Enhanced Services Billing, Inc., My Info Guard and Telephone Services, Inc. Are all part of the same unsavory group.
