Double Charged me for product renewal Cupertino California

On 12/9/07 I was notified by Symantec that my subscription was due to expire. I had the option of renewing my original product, or upgrading to Norton 360. I went ahead and upgraded to Norton 360.

On 12/20/07 I was emailed by Symantec notifying me that my subscription was automatically renewed and charged to my credit card. My credit card was charged in the amount of $53.49.

I immediately contacted Syamntec informing them of this error, and I was assured that I would receive a refund for $53.49. They would issue me a check and I would receive it within 30 days.

On 1/19/08 I contacted Symantec again to inform them that have not received any refund from them and it has been over 30 days. They requested my mailing address, which I provided, and assured me again that I would receive a check in the mail within 30 days.

It has now been 60 days, and I have yet to see any refund whatsoever from Symantec. All my emails are now being ignored. The complaint is still open and the individuals that were involved that are not responding are Sathish Sundarajan, Victor, (a supervisor), N Ravikumar.

All I am asking is that someone respond to my complaint which is now more than 60 days old. This is very poor customer service from Symantec. Most likely I will never buy their product again.
