Symantec Store froze my computer screen. Then they flashed intimidating warnings that my computer was at risk of being contaminated with a dangerous virus.
They said I needed to order Norton 360 Premier Version 3 immediately.
I called and canceled the order that same day and they said I would not be charged.
When they charged $149.97 to my credit card, I disputed the charge.
Citibank initially removed the charge. When Citibank could not reach anyone at Symmantec, they re-charged me the $149.97.
I have not been able to contact anyone at Symantec Store. They will not return my calls.
Now I find out that they are not even a real company. There have been a great deal of complaints from others that have been ripped off by Symantec.
I have never received the product from Symantec. They just took my money.
Isn't that computer fraud?
