Complaint / Review
1stchoicememory, First Choice Memory, SMK Superstore, APCB Computer
PCBBoost It's one and the same company! Trabuco Canyon

So here is my story... I have not received my product yet, and don't know if I am even open the package, because:

A) I received a shipment notification e mail with 2 different tracking numbers

B) I selected 4-6 business days shipping - it's been 5 already and it's friday, and USPS didn't ship it yet

C) The shipment e-mail was signed by SMK Superstore, and I bought my RAM from 1stchoicememory

D) Better yet, my billing statement (from the bank) shows another company - APCB COmputer or something to that extent.
If any of you would like to search those two companies, you will fing fraud alerts all over the internet.

E) 1stchoicememory.com has a BBB icon, but is not a member of BBB.

F) Their Better Business Bureau has two different reports for 1stchoicememory and Firts Choice Memory - the same company, different addresses.

G) Phone numbers listed on BBB website are all disconnected

H) I asked the company a question earlier on about getting a tracking number, this is what I said: "Hi, I was just wondering if I am going to get an actual tracking number for my order. I have only been able to check the status, which says that my oder has been processed and will arrive between 2/15-2/19. What about actually tracking my package? Please let me know if I can do that. Thanks!"
What I got in response (this is all there was in the email): "A delivery confirmation number will post to the site near the delivery date." Hmm... It doesn't really answer my question...

I emailed them asking why I am I doing business with 3 different companies, 2 of which have been reported on multiple times, I will see what their response will be.

I will post more when I am done dealing with them. Please beware and use your gut when shopping inline.

I didn't know much about computers (especially laptops), and their site had a nice memory match maker. Too bad I found out after placing the order, that I can get better memory on newegg for half the price of what I've been charged.
