I ordered a Canon printer head on 11-13-07. I was charged $71.95 the same day. The item was shipped about two weeks later, though they did give me a USPS tracking order after several emails from me asking what the status on my order was. It was almost 2 weeks before the tracking number showed the package actually entering the mail service.
While waiting on the printer head, I went ahead and bought a new printer. (It was quicker than having to wait so long.) After the printer head arrived, I called Inkcessories the same day, got an RMA and sent the package back, unopened and within the 30 day time period allowable for returns. I sent the printer head registered mail, in case there was ever a dispute about them receiving it. They received (and signed for) the package on 12-3-07. (When I called to get an RMA number, they told me I would be refunded as soon as they received the printer head.)
I waited for over a week and got no email nor the promised refund. I called and was 'transferred to accounting'. I was told I wold be refunded within one work week. A work week went by and still nothing. I called again and was told it must have been an oversight, that they NEVER do this, and that my check was in the mail.
When the check didn't arrive, I called again.By this point they'd stopped replying to my emails asking for my refund. Phoning them was a joke. I was put on hold again and again. At one point I was on hold for 15 minutes. Another time, after about 10 minutes, someone picked up the phone then hung up on me without saying a word.
To say their customer service is lax would be a compliment. They have demonstrated to me that there is no customer service with this company at all. They have not attempted in ANY way to work this out. Their solution is to ignore me and keep my money.
A word to the wise. Do not pay via Paypal.inkcessories kept putting me off until I was past the 30 days that Paypal allows for one to make a dispute.inkcessories knows this and uses it to their advantage.
This company has some serious problems going on.
Their address has changed since yesterday, literally. They were listed as being in Monrovia, Ca. Now they show up as being in Los Angeles, and of course the rest of the address is different as well. Also, Inkcessories had two numbers listed yesterday. One is an 888 number you find on their website to place orders. The other was apparently a number for John Jacobs, the person 'in charge' of Inkcessories. That number is no longer available.
What kind of company changes their address (down to the town even) and deletes the number of 'the guy in charge' overnight?
On a final note... Buyer beware. How many reputable companies have a Terms of Use like this? Inkcessories does.
