InkCessories.com (aka Office Store Depot, And www.officestoredepot.com) WARNING! Total RipOff! Ten Weeks and Still Nothing! Monkey Business!

On December 27 I ordered a Canon printer head from Inkcessories.com for $54.61 (incl. Tax, S&H). My Visa card was promptly charged.

On January 10 I received an email stating that my order had been shipped, including a US PS tracking number. Five days later, the USPS still had no record of it being shipped. The USPS said that the shipper had "printed a shipping label and the USPS was electronically notified to expect your package for mailing. This does not indicate receipt by USPS." This is the same tactic they apparently use with other customers, blaming the USPS for any delays or lack of performance on their part, and telling customers to "check with your post office."

On January 15, I emailed InkCessories to ask what happened to my order. The next day, I received an email from Inkcessories stating that they had switched to a new USPS system to "streamline delivery" and that "we are seeing delays all over. We will have our shipping [dept.] contact the USPS and get this item delivered asap."

On January 19, the printer head finally arrived. The printer head was defective and did not work.

On January 22, I called Inkcessories at 800-360-2INK and spoke to a man who said that they would replace the defective item. He said that he would email me two options for returning it, and to follow the email directions. The email stated two options:
(1) A prepaid shipping label will be sent to you for returning the part. When Inkcessories receives it, they will send a replacement.

(2) (Must have your Credit card on file). A prepaid shipping label and replacement part will be sent to you. When you receive the replacement, send back the defective part. If not received in 15 days, you will be charged again for the part.

Becoming wary of Inkcessories at this point, I chose option # one, and emailed them regarding that.

On January 27, a week later, I emailed them and asked when I might expect the prepaid shipping label, informing them that I reside across town in Los Angeles, only about 20 miles from their business. Mail delivery across that distance is normally next day. Their reply was that the label was processed on Jan 23rd and should arrive "any day now." I asked if I could come to their location in Monrovia, CA and exchange the part in person. Their reply (Jan. 30th email) was that "These items ship from different warehouses around. Yours is not shipping from CA." My Prepaid Return Shipping Label is not coming from California? Well, if that's true, this business does have serious problems.

On February 7, I emailed them that I have still not received the return shipping label. There was no response from Inkcessories.

On February 11, I sent an email demand for a refund stating that if I do not receive a refund within two weeks I would take further legal action.

On February 13, Inkcessories sent me an email stating "We have sent multiple labels to you. We have no problem on sending one more. Probably would suggest to talk to your Postman."

I asked them where they are sending these multiple labels to, because they aren't comming to my house, and I suggested they check with shipping to make sure they are actually sending them. I reminded them that it has now been seven (7) weeks since I ordered the item.
On February 14th they emailed me that they had sent a return label.

On Feb. 20th I finally received the prepaid return label, and mailed the defective printer head to them the next day. The return label address was Inkcessories (aka Office Store Depot) PO BOX 1447 Monrovia, CA. They have apparently moved around in the area from Monrovia to Arcadia, which are two small adjacent towns near Pasadena, CA. The physical address appears to be under "Office Store Depot" (NOT to be confused with Office Depot) located at 122 A Foothill Bl. Arcadia, CA 91006.

As of today, March 14th I have received no replacement printer head or any email indicating what is going on. I has been TEN WEEKS since I placed my order.inkcessories.com (aka Office Store Depot) has my money, and I have nothing. How they stay in business I haven't a clue. These crooks are hiding behind the safety of the internet. Pure unadulterated horse manure! Warning! Do not get involved with these shysters.
