One of my accounts on www.travian.Us was banned due to a payment problem for a special service the game has called Plus account. The game itself is a free browser game, only plus costs money but my whole account was banned not just the plus service. I wrote plus support and they accused me of canceling the payment and gave me an attitude saying my account will stay banned and they never responded to me since.
I wrote back again saying I did no such thing and called my card company and they said the charge went through. Since then I decided to try writing admin since plus support was ignoring me. All he could do was forward my messages to plus even when I asked for a supervisor.
Now plus support has admin post in the newsbox forum saying the bank canceled the payments. Apparently there are others banned for this. I spoke to my bank again and they did not cancel the payment yet travian wants all this information about my bank and my account as well as a copy of my ID and credit card statement. I gave them the phone number of the bank and that is all I will give. I also asked for the contact information for their credit card service but only got another message saying to send them my and my bank's information.
The way they responded to the situation and to me is unprofessional. If you pay for something with your credit card they should contact you and tell you they can't find the payment so you could get in touch with your card company and cancel it or find out what went wrong.instead they put a ban on the account and tell you nothing of why till you write them an email and then take two days to respond instead of within 24 hrs as the site says it would be.
Then they accuse you of cheating them and then ignore you... I keep getting the same message that me or my bank canceled the payment no matter how many times I tell them otherwise. Meanwhile I have a charge out there that if I was away and paid it off before I noticed I was banned I would have lost the right to dispute it. I would be the one who was robbed. Something is obviously going on behind the scenes.
I even suggested it may be a hacker got into travian and rerouted all payments and still they say it was me or my bank without even trying to discuss it. Since that incident other things have been happening like the buttons on the game's browser disappearing one at a time, the whole screen going haywire, and other effects on my computer. I feel I am being scammed by either Travian or their credit card service so I am closing all accounts with them and disputing the charges. Don't be another victim. There are better games out there.
