We are having an extremely difficult time disconnecting our Vonage service.in August of this year, we sold our property in San Francisco, California; we have not lived in — nor have we visited — this address since the closing date.
In September we called Vonage to disconnect our services effective August 31. This is what followed:
1) Firstly, the customer service department could not find any record of our account. They kept requesting our email address, but none of the email addresses weve used over the past 5 years were present in their system.
2) We then tried using the phone number and billing address associated with our account; again, this did not work.
3) Finally, we tried giving them the American Express account number that is being charged each month for your services; not successful.
To date, we are STILL being charged a monthly fee.
