Credit card billing via negative option

You CAN get a refund from these people! Like many others, I was negative billed for several months by PWW after sending for their $4.95 eBay seller's kit (and never receiving it). After sending letters to the Utah BBB, State Department of Commerce, Attorney General, four Salt Lake City TV stations, four SLC radio stations, and two SLC newspapers, I received a reply from the Utah DOC telling me that PWW had been investigated and that a refund would be forthcoming. Here is a quote from their November 2 letter:

"Pacific WebWorks has entered into a settlement agreement with this division. Part of that agreement provides that Pacific WebWorks will provide refunds to consumers charged pursuant to a negative option." I did receive a check from PWW for the full amount shortly after I received this letter.

If you are one of their victims, contact J. Michael Pitts, Investigator, Utah State Department of Commerce, Division of Consumer Protection, 160 East 300 South, Box 146704, Salt Lake City, UT, 84114-6704.in your letter, describe your situation in detail with billing dates and the names of the "arms" of PWW given on your credit card statement for each month. Give him your email address also.
