After disputing a charge of $49.90 several times with Bank of America, my credit card holder, I finally called today because BofA will not take emailed disputes any longer. (Time to change CC???)
I spoke with Cashe at PWW who told me that I signed up for eBay auction tools in July and that the initial charge was $4.95, with subsequent charges of $49.90 per month. I honestly don't remember signing up, and have a feeling that this was one of those "check boxes" that I failed to notice on an account registration.in any case, PWW refuses to refund my money, even though I told them that I never even LOGGED ON to their product. If I received something in the mail (which I DOUBT), I would have returned it to the sender once I read that there was going to be continued charges.
To begin with, I already know how to buy and sell on eBay, so I doubt that I would have signed up for more information. Secondly, the CSR-Cashe, could not give me his last name, the name of the president, or the stock exchange trade code, even though they are a "publicly traded" company.
According to PWW the security code on our CC acts as a signature on their contract. This was confirmed by Bank of America.
Does anyone live near their physical address? I'd love to have a picture of their "corporate offices".
I'm sorry for all of us that were scammed by these thieves!
