I too realized after 3 months of charges that I had no idea what this company was or why they were chargeing me. I too bought something through resturant.com and then began getting these charges. I started calling last week, I got them (shopping essentials) to give me 2 months of the 3 they had charged me back and cancelled my credit card # because they were actually charging my bank account. I am a persistant bitch who believes in getting what they pay for and getting it back if you didn't pay for it! So because of that I called back 4 times today and was hung up on twice, I finally got a supervisor by the name of Lisa who says she is returning the final months payment back into my account. I will keep you updated if this happens.
During my phone calls today I actually asked 3 reps, including a supervisor what "Shopping essentials Plus" is, and what services they offered, my first 2 attemps noone would give me the information and because I wouldn't give "Tony" the supervisor my name he became very upset told me I was being rude and sarcastic REFUSED to tell me what the comapny actually offered and then hung up on me! RUDE!
BE persistant, keep calling, dispute, dispute, dispute... You'll get your $ back.
I also think some kind of reporting to the BBB or some kind of petition needs to be started to close these fraudulant company down..
