I changed my telephone and Web providers from Verizon to Comcast since Comcast provided three providers (including wire) at-one low cost. I've been attempting to remove my DSL support from Verizon for over per week today. Everytime I named a week ago, I acquired a note stating that 'all brokers are active, please hang-up and call-back later'. I eventually got thru todayat 10:29 AM. After going thru their selection and informing them that I needed to stop my providers, they explained the next available broker may talk to me and set me on-hold with a few music-playing. It's today 12:23 AM (nearly 2 hours later) and that I am still on-hold hearing that boring music.
