I call SMC on the Nov 16th and started my
membership with a 30 day trail. If i decide it is not for me then i can return it with in the 30 days for a complete refund of my 39.99. They took the money out of my checking account using my debit visa card. Well, Late
that night i was not feeling to good about my decision
so i came here to Ripoff see if there was anything about
this company. I read everything i could about it. I thought MAN!!! What have i got myself into too! I had to wait until Monday to cancel my Bank card. So, Monday i did just that.
On the 17th of Dec SMC is going to take 275.00 out of my
checking account if i don't cancel within 30 days. Seeing the company's track record i really felt that no matter if i cancel thay would make it to late for that to happen one way or the other and before i know it 275.00 will be zapped out of my checking account. You see it has been almost 2 weeks since i became a member and have not gotton my package in the mail yet.
If i get it in a day or so from now, that will leave me only a short 2 weeks and 3 days to do everything that they make us do to return the package to the Membership Return Department. And a letter of cancellation along
with the receipt to the MEMBERSHIP CANCELLATION DEPARTMENT.
With all of that being taken care of... Then we have to wait to see what those departments are going to do from there. What more are they going to want me to do. Well, Before you know it my 30 days are all used up and they are going to yell TIME UP! ZIP right out of my account. I'm not saying that will happen but i wonder it has almost 12 days and no package? I don't have much time left.
So, I am so glad i came here to check things out. This seems to be going in the same directions as everyone else. I have not been scam have not been ripped off yet. I'm not saying that they will scam me or rip me off.
But, I realized i do not want to do business with SMC. And it does look like By the time i get the package and do everything i am told i have to do in order to return the package and cancel my membership and maybe
get my money of 39.99 less shipping and handling (Which i don't see that happening) my 30 days will be up. I will have to wait and see I do want to think everyone here and RIP Off.
I hate that i have to pay to return the package. I feel i can send the package back alot cheaper then i pay to have it send to me.
I will keep you up to date on what happens in the next few weeks.
For the record
I am not saying SMC has scam me or ripped me off.
I'm not saying that they are going too. But, What i feel right now is my 30 days are fast approaching and things seem to be kind of heading the same direction as everyone else here that has had some bad experience with SMC. Thank you, Debra
