Triple Play Bait & Switch Comcast Triple Play Installation and Bait Switch

Simply put, we were taken in by the Comcast deceptive advertisements.

After hearing the ads, I called. I was told that although we didn't qualify for the phone, we could still get internet & TV at the reduced rate for 12 months.

The end result? The cable was never connected to work and I received a bill for Full Price internet and TV and over $60 of undisclosed installation fees (for the service never completed).

The Rip-off Details:

1. We did set up numerous appointments which were either lost or missed by the Comcast contractors. On the Appointments that they did make. They couldn't get the service working, yet still billed.

2. Upon ordering, we were informed of the discount costs and the regular charge which would take place in 12 months. We were not informed of any installation or equipment fees. We were not told that we would be charged separate installation fees for each TV in the house, even though they were all pre-wired by Bellsouth 5 years before. After the bill, we were told by billing at Comcast that the agent was incorrect, that the area does not quality for the discounts, and that we owed the bill, even thought the service was not yet installed.

3. Comcast, now wants us to meet a technician, to have everything removed (even though nothing is installed).
