On 2-19-07 I contracted with IPGEN INC to conduct some website work. On 2-19-07 payment was sent, however after that, no work was conducted. The company never recieved the passwords to my site, never made any changes, and did not complete one task that was contracted. After 6 months of trying to get a refund on my payment of $505, I am told there is no refund. They acknowlege they did no work to the site, but they refuse to issue any refund as well.
I am listing this not to harm the company in any way, only to warn others that there are crooked companies that hide behind the internet to take money from innocent people. Please do your homework before contracting. Also check with the BBB and local Chamber before using this, or any web based company.
