Company owner Neal Duncan hired my company to perform software consulting services. We agreed to the terms of the services which clearly specified what was required of my company and his company. My company did a rush job to deliver the services in the timeframe that was agreed upon. The client was happy with the work, and we billed him for the project. However the client did not pay the invoice and instead insisted that my company complete further work that was not originally agreed upon in order to collect the payment due. Since we are unwilling to work for free and stated so, the client has decided to refuse payment for services already rendered.
