Ripoff Grossly Misrepresenting Manifest List Dispute Resolution A Joke Refused Full Refund

Apparently, we're not the only ones to be suckered in by this rip-off site.

My husband has bid & won 6 of their auction listings. 1st-items arrived promptly, we were satisfied with our purchase. Auctions 2,3, & 4, the sellers were allowed to back out of the auction sale, because the items did not bring the selling price they wanted. These sellers are: World Export, MegaDeals 7, & globalexport. All 3 sellers were allowed to immediately re-list the items, starting out with $100 bids, just like the auctions my husband bid on. We complained for all the good it did, we were told to "just not bid on these sellers auctions again", by the rep with Liquidations.com. That was several months ago.

My husband has been out on the road working construction since Feb 07, just got back home a couple of weeks ago. Against my better judgement, he began searching for Women's Apparel on the Liquidation.com website, & before I knew it, had bid on 3 auctions, 2 of which he won. All of these auctions contained Manifests & photos of some of the items we were to receive. We discussed the items provided in the Manifests, & he ask my opinion on which I thought would sell better. The average size women now days wear the Large or larger sizes, so I told him which sizes would go better.

I made immediate payment for the 2 auctions he won, & we waited for the items to be delivered. The seller was "Premier Retail". Even though the auctions closed about the same time, & I paid for them at the same time, they were not shipped at the same time. There was a week gap between delivery of the items.

First delivery, husband opened the boxes to go through & see what the items looked like. I printed out the manifest list from the auction description & we started looking for matching items. Out of 50 items on the manifest list, we only received 1 that matched. These were supposed to be "shelf pulls", there are about 20 of the items that have beads missing, strings hanging, some seams have been popped, & one really pretty dress, which should be a "hot" seller, has a nasty tear in it. These ARE NOT "shelf pulls", these are "returns".
$733.10 for this garbage, supposed to be high end dept store merchandise.

Also received smaller sizes than what was listed, alot of 2's, 4's, etc. More petite sizes than larger sizes. I'd laugh if it wasn't so aggravating!

We filed a dispute, taking the time to make a list of the actual items that we received & some photos. We didn't photograph all 50 items because a rep at Liquidation.com told us not to. We actually received a response back from our dispute in approximately a week. The Punch line??? They are going to refund us a grand total of $63 & some pennies.

I spoke with a woman in "Buyer Relations" in Texas, earlier today, very rude, she kept huffing & puffing into the phone, until I finally told her I was hearing every bit of her "Oh God" comments & she could stop it because she was being rude. I also told her that anyone with a brain could compare our list with the manifest list from the auction & tell that they did not match. She tried to make me believe, the lists were compared & their dispute resolution team had determined that they matched & they did in fact have brains. Had to really bite my tongue on that one.

Bottom line, this woman told me that we could file another dispute, but this was their final decision, so didn't really think that it would make any difference. But... They haven't received the 50 or better photos that I will be cramming their email box with yet. Hell, it may be closer to 200, just to prove my point about the lists not matching. They haven't heard the last of me yet!

Oh yeah, as for the 2nd auction that was won & paid for, out of 100 items, we only had 1 item that didn't match the manifest list. Amazing isn't it? They can screw up so badly with a list of only 50 items, but get the list of 100 almost perfect.
