I am a disabled veteran and I was totally unaware of what was going on. I went to the ATM last friday and my card was rejected.
I went into the bank and the bank teller told me that I over drew my account and it would cost me 10.00 to reset my ATM card. Of course I paid. I asked why and she said that a company called USA Credit took money from my account and caused my account to go negative.
Standard practice to terminate use of card. I asked who USA Credit was she said how would she know I'm the one that authorized them to take money from me.
I was mad and asked for a phone number for this company. She gave me a 1-800 number to call.
I called and spoke to a woman named Carrie, she told me that I started this account in June for a shopping card. I stated that I did no such thing because I have no use for a shopping card.
She told me that they took 149.95 out of my account in June and 9.95 every month after that. I stated that I did no such thing and I wanted this account cancelled immediately and that I would be speaking with authorities about this company committing fraud.
She told me she would send me a fraud form via mail and I had 65 days to return it to them. She stated I might be able to recover some of my money. I was very angry, and stated that I would make sure I got all of my money back including the fees it tokk to get my account straightened out.
Like I said I am a disabled veteran and can't afford to be ripped off.
