I have been signed up with this company for a long time, I used them to sell on Ebay as a payment method. Well when I first signed up with them I did not have a bank account to add to my account info and there seemed to be no problem with it as I received payment for a few items I sold on Ebay and even requested a check from them. They sent me the check as I requested for the full amount that was in my paypal account and still everything was fine.
Then about 2 weeks later I logged into my account and it was limited, it had a list of things to do to remove the limitation from my account so I did them all. I even went and opened up a bank account as that was one of the requirements in order to get my account back to good standing.
So I did everything I was asked to do and there was no change in my account status, so I emailed them about 20 times to find out what was going on and first they said that I needed to do this and that, which I did everything they asked in all the emails that they sent me. Then they started saying that my paypal account was linked to another paypal account but did not tell me how. And said that I owed them like $800 or something which I dont because my account has $59.00 in it and I do not have any other accounts with them, and I know that for a fact.
So I emailed them again and told them I do not owe you any money my account has money in it so what is going on. So they replied and said that my paypal account is linked to another paypal account that has an email address and that paypal account owes them money or something.
So I sat there for a couple of days and thought to myself that these people were ripping me off because I do not owe them money and I do not have a linked account with anybody. So then it dawned on me that maybe they were talking about my exgirlfriend, she lived with me for a while, and maybe that is how they think our accounts are linked together is by the address.
So I emailed them and told them, she was my girlfriend at one point in time but no longer lives here so they need to contact her about the money that is owed to them because I have nothing to do with it. I am not liable for her or her actions, so they replied with the same crap about I still have to pay them before I can get my $59.00 out of my account just because I share the same address as someone who owes them money.
That is not right at all, my name is not on that account and therefore should not be liable for that persons actions. All I want is my $59.00 out of that account so that I can close my paypal account and never have to deal with this again.
It has been a few months since this has been going on and they will no longer reply to any of my emails. They will not send me my money that I made for selling my stuff on Ebay, that is just not right. That is not their money to keep.
