This morning while checking my email, I received an email from paypal that my account has been limited. I am unable to send or receive or withdraw any of MY money! After several calls to customer service, no one was able to address exactly why it was limited. And no one seemed to know exactly how to reinstate my account. I was given another email address and was told all I had to do was email them and all would be well!
A little later, I received an email from paypal that the reason for the limited account had to do with selling unauthorized items on ebay and I was told my account suspension would not be lifted AND they would be holding all my funds, which right now is $343, for 180 days.
I did not intentionally sell unauthorized items on ebay. I was told what I had was genuine and I am no longer selling it! Now, I no longer sell on ebay and am not selling any unauthorized items. This is something that happened 2 weeks ago.
Basically, right now, paypal is holding $343 of MY money and is saying it will be 180 days before it will be released to me and that my account will not be reactivated for an ebay violation! I was not being fraudulent in my transactions, this is over an item that ebay does not allow to be sold! This has nothing to do with paypal! I want my money and account reactivated.
