On May 2 I won an auction from the seller discountedsurplus. I sent him a personal check for the item that cleared my bank on May 15th. I sent him numerous emails asking him WHY had I yet to get the item. His response to every single email was, "please be patient, the item is on it's way."
I sent him one last email on May 30th, asking for the item or a full refund and he has yet to this day responded to that last email.
As of June 3rd, I filed a fraud report with ebay and because the amount is not over $25.00, they are unable to give me a refund. The amount shouldn't matter, they allowed this guy to sell on their site, they should be held liable also. But because the amount is ONLY $25.44, I am not entitled to a refund from ebay.
From May 17 thru June 15th, this seller has received a total of 21 negative feedbacks from buyers, who like myself NEVER got the item they won, much less their money back. And of course, once we left negative feedback on him or filed a fraud report against him, he would leave negative feedback against us buyers! And his negative feedback against me, is the ONLY one that I have. I wrote ebay asking them if they would please remove the feedback, for the fact that I am the victim to his scam and they have yet to responde to the email, nor have they removed the negative feedback on me.
All ebay has done, is suspend him. But that isn't going to stop him from registering under a diffent name.
And before I could go and check what the result of the report was or to see what other options I may have, ebay had closed it out. That is why I am filing this report here.
