Somewhere in the process of trying out internet surveys, I got ripped off by Shopping Essentials. I was careful to read all of the fine print on the surveys I did, and exited whenever there was a fee.
However, about the time I started the surveys, a charge started showing up on my bank statement for $19.95 starting in October and going through January.
I had thought is was one of my husband's health network sites, until I asked him - he said "no" and I realized I'd been getting charged for something I never signed up for and never received.
In January when I called the 888 phone number, it immediately prompted me through billing questions, in turn which led to the "option" of canceling my "membership." What membership? And to what?
