I paid money to paid surveys online and did get their list of sites. I joined a number of these sites and spent probably 40 hours completing profiles and surveys, and I made a total of $1.50. Most surveys tell me the survey is full (and this is even after I respond immediately upon getting notification that there is a survey for me to try).
I always give the answers they apparently do not want and so am not allowed to continue or in some cases, I spend 20 minutes or so answering questions and even complete some surveys before I am notified that I don't get the cash award, but I do get entered in their sweepstates (if I can figure out how to get my entry in there). But I never have won any of the sweepstakes.
Of course, I also blame paid surveys on line for saying that you will get two free airline tickets and then when you ask them why the tickets don't come, you have to take it up with the other ripoff company, mass marketing, aka The Guest List. Also, I don't count tickets free if you have to pay $20.00 for them, and they are especially not free when you pay $20.00 for them and then NEVER GET THEM.
