Paypal is conducting itself with unfair and fraudulent business practices. I paid for merchandise using Paypal on Nov. 3 and Nov. 14. To date I have received nothing. The merchants count on Paypal stealing my money for in upwards of a month and Paypal refuses to make immediate refunds though they can clearly see that the merchant is uncooperative and has no intention of refunding the customer's (my refund) so I have other financial obligations to meet with my money but Paypal refuses to refund citing some 10-day policy when obviously more than 10 days has gone by; in fact weeks and still no refund and no merchandise.
I spoke to David who calls himself a resolution supervisor at about 6:30PM this evening, Nov. 27. He stated he was refunding one of my payments back immediately and that I should see it in my account immediatley.instead it is now 8:15PM and no refund. David is a liar. When I call back I am angry because I have been refreshing my screen awaiting my money back; nothing.
I continue to call paypal and i continue to get more lies now david being dishonest from his earlier promise.
Isn't it interesting that i paid out money instantly and here we are nearly a month later and i have no merchandise and no refund? It's like paypal makes it difficult for the customer to get their money back even though it's the consumer's money and they root for the fraudulent merchants.
Rajiv dutta paypal president just allows the fraud to continue without any recourse for victims; then you get a liar like david from resolutions on the line, and then other females from resolutions who allow the customer to become more and more frustrated because they now claim david claims he never said he was refunding my money back to me. All this over "my own money"? It's my money; not theirs! What is this? I have filed criminal complaints to the california attorney general, the da's office, fbi and to any other law enforcement agency that i could.
These are truly evil evil, very fraudulent people who own, head up and who operate within paypal. They laugh and make excuses when you become upset and your blood pressure is at an unhealthy level. We handle things legally but as you can see in the news, many do not and this is why we see so many incidents of riotous reaction by other duped victims. They are taking matters into their own hands, but the ones like us who try to handle things legally are ignored and victimized even more.
When will paypal be no more and what other online payment sources are there out 'there'?
Paypal is a fraud and its president is also. How dare you not refund a consumer's money for weeks and weeks when they keep complaining "no merchandise; the seller does not have the merchandise and won't be shipping; just refund my money asap". Why does the attorney general of california and the da's office continue to allow them to get away with the fraud?
What about the defamation and libel comments made by fraudulent sellers on ebay? Ebay/paypal are run by rajiv dutta, president. Is this the way americans should treat each other with criminal fraud? Is he an american? Why all of the fraud? Why is it allowable for an american or anyone to pay his/her money thru paypal for merchandise and the merchant does not deliver and the victim to go thru bureaucratic bullcrap and still not get their money back.
