I came back from vacation on July 29th and was trying to figure out why my phone line was constantly busy as I couldn't even retrieve my messages while I was on vacation. I figured out it was the computer as we had had some storms here while I was gone. So I tried to change some lines but that didn't work and was told I probably needed a new modem. As a last resort I called tech support and told them everything about the storm and that I thought I probably needed a new modem. They kept me on the line for 26 minutes with stuff that was on the computer that I already knew. So did me absoloutely NO GOOD. I got my bill for tech support for $52.65 for no help whatsoever. How can they do this to people? So I am disputing the charges as this is not fair and I feel I was taken advantage of. I went and purchased a new external modem and that took care of the problem. So I knew more than they did before I even talked to them! What a fiasco.
