Our modem went out on our $2,000. V2Premier computer before the warranty expired.
They sent us a modem and tried to find a technican to install the new modem. It took them a couple of weeks to get a technican from BenchMark to our home to install the modem. The computer still did not work.
We then sent in the new modem and our computer in the original box as required packed with foam peanuts where the computer could not move in the box while being shipped.
When we recieved our computer back the outside case was broke, the modem wouldn't work properly, the UBS ports wouldn't respond to our scanner and ez cam II. Now a month later the modem doesn't work at all. Everything worked fine except the modem when we sent in the computer.
We tried several times to contact tech support but couldn't get through. We emailed them and their response is that our warranty expired and we need to seek a local computer store to have it repaired.
We first contacted V2 Premier on May 11. Our warranty had expired on June 25.
They said UPS damaged the computer on shipment but on the repair list it stated that the computer was packed very well. They never filed a damage claim with UPS. If they would have filed a claim I could have had my case replaced.
Has a class action lawsuit been filed against these people? What does NBC say about what is going on? Has the Attorney General been notified in Minnasota?
Please let me know what is going on with trying to stop these people from ripping off consumers of thousands of dollars for faulty computers and service.
