Suspended My Account When I Tried to Verify ripoff La Jolla

I tried verifying my identity with greenzap when I received the message that my account was suspended until I received an email explaining the next step.in the email below, this is what they asked for. A copy of my ID, a copy of my bank statement, and a copy of a bill. When I read this, I knew something was not right so I started searching for web sites to find out if they are a scam. This is what I found on another web site.

GreenZap is purportedly a payment processor, which gives their members "web cash." It turns out that any of the companies they claim to be partnered with are not accepting anything from them.

Now. Below is the email they sent me.

We are sorry GreenZap was not able to verify your identity based on the information you provided.

We value the trust you have placed in us by using our service to conduct your transactions online. Because your relationship with us is financial in nature, the protection of your account is very important.

Please take a few minutes to fill out the form below and attach the appropriate documentation. This is a one-time request and once we receive the below information you will have successfully verified your identity.

We thank you for your time and continued support.

I am putting this on every web site I can find to warn people not to fall for this scam or send their offer to any of their friends and family members. It sure could cause a great deal of disruption and anger.

I just thank God I've been around the internet long enough to know what to do in situations like this, but what about newbies who don't? They will get ripped off by scam artists like this with no recourse as GreenZap has it on their web site that if a person pays to upgrade to Gold, there are no refunds for any reason.

I'm certainly glad I decided to verify my ID though. I was just about to send out offers to my friends for their so-called, free cash. This would have hurt my trustworthiness with my ezines I send out. I might have lost all of my subscribers, but why should GreenZap care? It's nothing to them.
