I know Avon has their hard core followers, I am not one of them. Everytime I bought something from them it was high priced crap.
Againist my better jugement I started ordering things other than makeup... Ie jewlary, shoes, and trinkets for my home ect. My favorite was the $40.00 ring I purchased and it turned my finger green and the metal tarnished a week after I bought it. I ask my rep if I could return it and she did let me return it but the company sent word (4weeks later) that it would be on back order. I told her that I just wanted a refund and to forget the deal. I then decided, after trying to contact the company for my refund to no avail I would just take other items for the price as replacement. Big mistake, I got some cheap flip flops that broke after wearing them twice and and a necklace for my daughter again it broke after wearing it once.
I have also seen clothes that other people have bought and they were not cheap either. They were not flattering outfits at all. It looked like they were made with very cheap fabrics and so on and so on.
And then there is the household crap (all brok in one way or another) that I purchased to help a friend with her sales. With one purchase I recieved a coupon for a free offer from a nation wide work out place, and well that turned out to be a scam as well when I tryed to use it they informed me that I had to sign up for the program before I could get the free trial. And when I was there talking to the lady about the program I noticed that they were selling their line of clothes that Avon was selling for twice as much.
What is going on with this company? My advice is stay away from Avon and their over priced crap.
